1619: The Making of America

1619 Updates

We’ve made a lot of progress on putting together the final schedule for the conference and are now seeking volunteers to help pull all of this together.  We need volunteers in Hampton on Thursday, September 26th and in Norfolk on Friday the 27th. To sign up to help with the conference, please email Stephanie Richmond at sjrichmond@nsu.edu with your availability and preferred position.  We need help with registration, panel moderator assistants, Ride Share desk, and speaker’s room aides. 

There are also a lot of wonderful events going on in the area in the next few weeks, including the Nottoway Powwow on Sept. 21-22nd and events at Hampton History Museum.
