1619: The Making of America 2013 Conference
The 1619 conference committee is pleased to announce the dates and location of the Fall 2013 conference. This year will be a two day event split between Hampton History Museum and Norfolk State University held on September 26-27, 2013. The conference will be held in Hampton on Thursday the 26th (venue TBA), and at the Norfolk State University Student Center on Friday, September 27th. We have a number of exciting speakers and events planned, and the call for papers for the panels of academic and community leaders will be posted soon.
