“1619” The Making of American Conference @NSU

I am sitting in this wonderful “1619” conference in the beautiful NSU New Student Center. I’m amazed at the stories and facts that these historian scholars are sharing about the first Africans who arrived at James Town. If mama was a slave, you children were slaves. At one point if you be came a Christian you would not be a slave, but that was quickly stopped, by the white people.
