Welcome to the 1619: The Making of American new conference and collaboration website. You will find all the information that was on our old site, along with information about the upcoming 2013 conference. The site also has some new features, including an events calendar, where you can find events from our partner organizations and institutions. Keep an eye out for new material, including the long-awaited podcasts from our 2012 conference, coming soon!
We want to thank our webmaster, Tommy Tavenner, for his new design, which will allow us to publish a larger variety of content on the site and allow us to host exciting new media like podcasts and an online journal in the future. We also want to thank Zachary Hill and Ashley Meyer, graduate students in English at Old Dominion University for their help proofreading and de-bugging the site.
